Sympathetic Flypaper

Released: 2004~

Written & produced by: Frances Quinlan

Genre: Freak folk (assumed)

Background

Very little information is available about this EP. The record predates Freshman Year and likely Songs of the Sea: Semi Nautical Themes, likely being Hop Along's first release.

The record was briefly mentioned in one Soundcloud interview by Dominic Angelella, where he explained that he sought out Quinlan in the first place due to hearing the record from a friend. The EP was also mentioned to be on the band's old purevolume account, but the account has since been deleted and excluded from the Wayback Machine, so no information can be taken from it.

Possible Tracklist

It is unknown what the tracklist for the record may have been. There a couple of old Hop Along songs that have made their way online, however, that may have orignated on this EP.

  1. "For the Bonsai Tree You Bought for Me"
  2. "Spinach Water"
